Default dccd gearbox prop shafts and r160 diff

Hi

I have a close ratio dccd gearbox from my 99 turbo. I brought this setup up from a 2000 type r import with 24,000 kmhs i fitted it to my uk 99 turbo 2000. its has r160 lsd diff and the correct shafts to fit a r160 and prop. Want 400 for the lot, call nick on 07833246269

Can you clarify as the Type R box as standard has a 4.44 final drive ratio but Subaru didn't make a 4.44 R160 diff?

Either the box has been altered or you have an R180 diff which will mean a whole rear end change (hubs discs brakes) for whoever buys the box.

I stand corrected you're right they did do an R160 4.44.
However the buyer states the setup came from a Type R all of which have the larger R180 4.44 rear diffs. perhaps he could clarify

Hi

To answer the question, the only reason i fitted the r160 diff is to save the messin about with changing rear hubs and brakes etc. This was any easy fix with no down side. the r160 is pretty much the same lsd diff as the r180 just diff shaft output from the diff, I tHink my diff was a rebuilt sti v3/4.

yes this will fit uk turbo up to 2001 i think, i do not have the controller for the box as i alway ran it with the centre diff open, more power to the rear. but you can get an aftermarket controller from the states for 180 dollars.
