CORRECT, THEY ARE WIDER TO ACCOMODATE THE LARGER BREMBO CALLIPERS.
MY SCOOBY DEALER HAS ADVISED THAT THEY WILL FIT A STD SCOOB WITH STD CALLIPERS

Pete Croney has said that the offset of the STi wheels is the same as that for the standard WRX on this thread. Is there another problem other than offset?

Ah ha. Saw it today - very nice! I particularly liked the Prodrive wheels - they suit the car much better than the UK300 wheels.
