Default 03 JDM TWINSCROLL EX BRD CAR 386bhp/401lbs

For Sale is probably the best Newage car in the South of England. The car was originally a BRD Development vehicle owned by Bob himself and this actual car has spawned a number of performance parts.

More detail about the cars history, can be found here and is well worth a full read as it covers a lot of technical upgrades not listed below:

https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...se-2-a-17.html

Being a Japanese import Twin Scroll variant this car was never available in the UK. For this reason the car has ** NO CO2 ** reading on the log book which means it is taxed on the PLG rate at ;

£185 per year 2009

The car is a JDM STI ‘GL’ (Full Extra’s Model), spec’d up from the factory by BRD and registered new in April 2003. Because of the way BRAND new cars are registered, it was listed as a ‘52’ plate.

The GL model shares may components with the Spec C, including the same quick rack, engine (strongest production STI engine) and ECU. It does lack the Spec C thinner-skinned roof/windscreen glass and slightly longer wheelbase, but it offers a better daily drive.

In summary (not everything is listedbelow ):

April 2003 STI GL Model (Blobeye)
Full import and new purchase paperwork.
Full documented Service History - 40,000 miles
Spec C ECU (with switch able maps via SECS monitor)
Mapped and set up from new by BRD, including Rescaled MAF etc.. (Using MEGA ROM map software that provides 5 differeent maps for the selected gears 1-2-3-4-5&6 ). This helps getting the power down in lower gears.
DCCD gearbox
APS DR725 Front Mount Intercooler capable of up to 725bhp (apparently)
Standard VF37 Twinscroll Hybrid Turbo
RCM Large Cone filter
RCM 3in Straight through system and back box.
Aquamist Water/Methanol injection
Power Enterprise 650cc Injectors (565’s only good for 370bhp)
Uprated Fuel Pump
Zerosports Radiator Cooler
HKS earthing kit
Carbon Pulley and Fusebox covers.

PFF7 Wheels with nearly new 225/40/18 Goodyear F1’s.
Full Type 25 Adjustable suspension and geometry settings.
DS2500 Pads.
Front upper and lower STI Strut Braces.
Rear STI Strut Brace.

Original (and rare) Genuine STI complete Front Splitter.
Kaylan Mudflaps all round.
UK Rear lights including integrated foglight.
Scoobyword (WR1 Style) front Intercooler protector
PIAA twin horns
Factory HID headlights
Chrome bonnet lifters

Aircon Climate control
STI Floor Mats
Defi BF gauges in Defi Pod with integrated control box
Knocklink display LED's built into defi pod.

Having previously owned this car for nearly four years, I have to say that is one of the few scoobies that can actually put all of its available power down on the road.

There are lots of 'so called' 400+ cars out there, but they just boost on or off and you have to plan your corners on englands lumpy-bumpy roads . Being twin scroll the lag is very low on this car and it just does the business.

Nice car mate, just thought I should mention your UK car tax forecasts are wrong though (for any scoob registered March 2001-March 2006), 2010 will be £245 not £300.

My mates old car was recently up for sale...

It was a 52 plate JDM STi (blob eye not bug)... it looked identical to this one with pretty much the same mods on face value... black faced defi's, tein coilovers with eletronic in car control... twin scroll turbo... lots of other mods... it was pushing around the 370/380 mark if I recal correctly and the guy that had it off him was selling a couple moths ago for £9750...

In my opinion, that was too low! My mate sold it for £14500 2yrs earlier... and now it was up for £9750...

This car is up for £10800 and I reckon thats an absolute bargin price!
I personally wouldnt have asked less than £11k for it, but its not up to me and not my car (I only wish)

Good luck with the sale... you're gonna make some1 very happy indeed!
