I'm reverting my Scoob back to standard, i have a complete TSL exhaust system.

Open neck Downpipe with Sport Cat, Decat centre section straight through and a TSL Group N backbox.

Am willing to split if i can sell the whole lot or £300 +postage

that would be an excelent system, i have the back box and similar centre and down pipe. And it certainly cost a bit more then £300 typical! good luck with the sale!

 

How old is the system and how much would you sell back box for?

The downpipe and centre section came off of a 2001 bug so not that old i've had it for 3 years, but as it's stainless that's not really a problem. The back box look's like one of the early ones with a 3.5 " tailpipe, it's got a small flat on the underside, that cannot be seen when on the car.

The system is the standard 2.5" from the down pipe through to the backbox, although it is 3" from the sport cat down to the fist join, strange but TSL say its good for 400 horses.

 

Would it fit a classic? What does it sound like. Im after pops and bangs.

 

Yes it's installed on a classic atm, the sound is diff to describe, in the car it is very subdued until you give it stick then it's got a lovely crackle, it does not really pop or bang unless you introduce some deliberate exhaust leaks...LOL
