I had a problem with this guy too - I bought some inlet pipework off him, but he only sent half of it... It took me a month to get a reply back, when asking for a refund, and I'm still waiting for it! that was about 2 months ago now!

 

I've posted it up on Tyne Tees Scoobie's . So we'll see if he crawls out...

Yep, your all right, it a sad reflection on the times we're living in.

Decency seems to have given way to dishonesty, selfishness and greed.

Fourtunately it is only a minority as i have bought numerous items from absolutely top blokes on this site and this is the first bit trouble i've had.

Strange this one - i bought a set of Brembos off of Lee last month and he sent me photos, described them well and they arrived two days after payment all as they should be.

Hope you get it sorted fella, assuming you have tried the mobile number further up on the thread as thats the one i was contacting him on?

 

im with fezza i brought a gearbox off lee a month or so ago he replyed everytime with everything i ask and all pics i did however travel all the way up too him from near birmingham too collect as i didnt want anything too go wronge so too speak

he seemed very genuin guy and all the bits he listed as breaking on his thread i had alook at too see if there anything i needed at the time shame too see he done this and put a bad mark on his name as breaking subarus is his trade i believe not good really best ov look getting ur money back fella

ok reading this thread i called him,he said after recieving your cheque a few days later he banked it,it takes a week to clear.
he has mislayed your address and still has the light for you!
if you contact him before wed morning as hes away for a week and wants to post them out to you before he goes.
did you try calling him?

hi i know lee personally and see yous all seem to slander my friend without even calling him to find out wats going on. ive just spoken to him on the phone and he has your lights here waiting to post out but needs a address as the last one was mis laid he has also being banned off scoobynet for trading without being an authorised trader .. i would like to know what yous plan on doing about this thread after he comes true and posts these lights out as i feel disgusted how you can post threads like this without contacting him first you,s should be ashamed as he has sold other things on here such as brembos ect ect for £400 why rip sombody off for £99 come on lads sort it out you,s should know better ........... I suppose a settlement between the two on the threads would be better for both of these guys. I certainly wouldn't go taking peoples money and not posting goods this will do your mates reputation more damage i assure you.

Just remember customer service, we all make mistakes and i'm sure these guys are old enough to sort it out amongst them.

Hawkeye beast - if I was you, i would edit the above post as you will do your friend lee no favours in saying what you did.

 

still think its appalling the way this has gone on im off over his garage now to collect lights for him and take a picture with todays date on and post on here to make a point .. and this has nothing to do with nobody else but him and needforspeed

 

i hope when these lights arrive that people have the decency to remove there slander including needforspeed .... (-: as lee is a gud trader and not a scammer belive me he dont need the money that bad lol.

having just read through the replies i can tell everyone that i have recieved a call from Lee and apperently there was a misunderstanding between himself and scoobynet regarding trading on here. he has said he will pass the lights onto hawkeye to post off to me so hopefully this was a genuine miscommunication and things will be sorted soon.

unfortunately there have been a few people being ripped off on here lately and i dont think you can blame someone who has paid for goods, tried to make contact to no avail, and not recieved the goods that were paid for.

Hawkeye is said to be posting off the lights to me either today or tomorrow so as soon as they hopefully arrive i will delete this thread and post another letting you all know that hopefully the matter was resolved and Lee has been true to his word following a legitimate misunderstanding.

 

right buds got lights off lee with permission to post asap so will be in post tomorrow special delivery and heres the picture to prove i have lights so give lee a break .

Bearing in mind some people have defended him in the posts above, myself included so the world isn't against him.

Regardless of the seller i dont blame NeedforSpeed for posting up on here what he did, there have been soooo many scammers on here recently i would be worried too if it were me.

Lee seems to have alot for sale and do a good job, im sure if he became a trader on here the business would be good for him an he would also get itrader feedback, so maybe a good move to stop this happening in the future...
