Well im sure i could manage to drive it down to the ferry anyway....not sure about driving it the whole way though lol

Its a fair bit i know to come to look at a car, but myself and many of my mates have travelled from Ireland to scotland/england/wales to buy cars and have always came home with the goods so its easy enough done.

I also know a car transportation company local to myself who is quite reasonable

Sorry for a stupid question but this is just what I'm after. Does it have to be imported to mainland UK i.e. is there extra papers, checks etc that have to be made?

No import forms required, just take the tax book and post in to Swansea, no big deal at all

Car has a full years MOT on it today

Plane from Cardiff to Dublin, drive down to the ferry and hop over to Fishguard, I live 20 mins from the ferry.

Least thats what I would have done anyway!!

BTT for you.

Can put anyone up on their way back if it suits. If its faster than my RA you get to sleep in the shed

That cars stunning looking. tastefully modded too.

To get to N.I couldnt be easier..I've travelled from here to the mainland a few times to lift cars.

The cheapest ferry is at Stranraer (just past Carlisle). That can take you to either Larne or Belfast then another hours drive maximum to get to where the cars located. **** easy, chill out and have McD's on the ferry lol!!
