Ditto.
Probably one of the best modded P1's around at the mo but in the current market it will still be for sale this time next year at this price.

Hi Guys

No need to delet your posts (YET) ;o) Everyone is entitled to there opinion

I do understand where you are coming from and agree to a certain degree, but on the other hand why should i let her go for peanuts?, The car did 1300 last year so not as if used much, i dont need to sell Her but i do fancy a change as i have a wee boy now and the P1 is a stiff ride(I aint getting any younger), so if she dont sell then no big problems as i will still enjoy her.

My view is simple, the P1 is special and should demand a higher price than standard turbo's but if we sell at low price's then we will never get what they are worth.

Cheers Dougie

I hate commenting on for sale prices, but feel I have to agree with the guys here. I've just sold my Impreza for about £1.5k less than I was expecting. Mine was also modified and with a recent rebuild. Unfortunately people do sell for prices some may feel are low, but it's where the market is at right now. The plus side is that whatever car you're after next will also be cheaper. P1s seem to be around the £6.5k mark upwards (not much more than that), a modified one won't necessarily add any more to your price, and may even put people off. You've also made a number of cosmetic mods. I'd take it back to standard and sell off the parts separately.

Failing that, as you don't need to sell really, keep it

HI M8

If i could get the 18 inch gold wheels i would put them on but to dear and crimbo is round the corner, lights were changed as a stone went through one of the headlights and there is a better light of the Morrettes any way, other than that what do you suggest taking of?

Power wise yes it's mapped but not for power its done for saftey as you know the P1 map was prone to problems, been running it like this for 4 years now, running 1.3 bar of boost compaired to 1.28 bar, but yeah i know some people will always prefer a standard one.

Already been offerd £8.5k for it from a dealer who has only seen it on picture's, and we know we loose money on trade in's.

But heay thats life and i will roll with it

Dougie

The big thing dragging the price down of scooby's is people jumping on people's for sale post telling them how they wont get that for it!!!

It pisses me off big time, And to the guy who said £6.k for a P1, lmfao!!! yeah, you may get one for that but it would be a bag of **** and no where as close to the condition this guy is selling.

All the best with the sale and stick to your guns mate

It's the current economic climate that is lowering the prices of cars at the moment, not small time forums and posts like this.

The reason I reluctantly comented is I once tried to sell a bugeye Impreza.
The car was one of the finest around [imo, if you call the bugeye fine at all]so I priced it at the top end.
6 months later and £2800 less it sold. Had I adverised it as i should have done initially, then I would have got more than I ctually got for it.
A lesson I wont forget.

and I will delete any of my posts if required.

Good luck Dougie

Quite wrong I'm afraid. What is dragging the price of Imprezas down is the state of the ecomony and worries over car taxation/fuel rates. I supopose I'm the guy you're refering to when you mistakenly say £6k for a P1. I said start from £6.5k upwards, borne out by them actually starting at that price on Autotrader. I'd shudder to think what they actually make on Ebay.

Have you actually tried to sell an Impreza lately or know someone who has?

Regarding to making the car look more standard, I purchased 17" Superleggas for £300 with good rubber and OE vents can be picked up quite cheaply. Mods feel free to delete if this is deemed inappropriate.

Have you been offered £8.5k from a dealer for cash or a trade in?

I sold my WRX with 320 brake for 2K!

Is this really worth 5 times more??

Put it up for the top end they seem to go for now which is 10K and you MIGHT get lucky.

HI Guys

The wheels could be for sale or swap but it would need to be with 18" colg P1 wheels.

Every one has there opion but it's only worth what some one is prepaired to spend on it, as i said i aint giving it away i would rather keep it and enjoy.

Price was for a trade in not cash sale.

Yes i think it worth 5 times more but i aint seen your's to coment and you must have been happy to sell it for 2k.

Cheers Dougie

**** sake, just let the man sell his car. If it is over-priced, it won't sell will it?

It is against forum rules to comment on sale prices anyway!

Good luck with the sale mate. It does look like a stunning example.

i've seen afew p1's sell for 10k+ in the last few weeks, you may well get a P1 for 6.5k but lets face it, if you want it to be how it should, putting another 3k to it making it nice would go no where, buy cheap buy twice
