Tax exempt mk2 cortina with a few mods!
Up for sale is my mk2 cortina, 1600e tax exempt on a g plate.
Had a few mods done, been on pistonheads and various other sites but thought i'd put it up on here for the hell of it.
Mods as follws,
3.9l rover v8,
Stage 2 heads
Offenhauser inlet (360)
Holley 390cfm carb,
4 branch manifolds,
holley fpr adjustable,
remote oil filter,
lift off bonnet, bonnet pins/stays
Big diesel rad,
Mallory dizzy and coil,
Twin kenlowe fans, and kenlowe sensor(adjustable)
Capri 2.8 bilstein shocks/m16 calipers,
Goodridge hoses,
High pressure fuel pump,
Capri 3litre gearbox(jumps out of 2nd unless you gun it)
Shortened prop,
Capri 3 litre back axle with lsd,
Revolution 4 spoke wheels.
Did have twin exit zorst, but was removed by previous owner as it was too loud. This does need looking at as it is terrible. The head(s) are gone and the car hasnt been driven in ages. Bought as a fun project, but needs must and i must have some space back. Some of the paint is damaged, it was parked on a housing estate and kids have jumped on it and damaged it. Shame really needs someone with some time and thats one thing i dont have with a 7 month old baby a nagging wife and another on the way!
Car owes me £1750.00 but i really need shot of it and will even consider breaking if some one offers me decent cash for the bits they require.
It would be a shame but it needs a good home or just to be used.

Car does run starts ok, but steams badly. Hasnt been run due to the head.
