If anyone wants some really high quality pictures of the car, let me know and I'll e-mail them to you, one at a time as they're about 5Mb each! SS

Is this the full fat 415bhp 1 that was on fifth gear? The one with porsche brakes? Thought there were hawkeyes as the 1 Plato drove was! Lovely car btw.

Hi dhforever, thanks for your kind comments - yep, she's a beauty.

No, it's not that model, it's the one before with Brembo brakes but trust me it accelerates like a Mig 29, pulls like David Beckham at a Page 3 shoot and stops quicker than Elton John driving past a gay convention. A beast.
It also happens to be build No.25, of the Type 25 (The one on fifth gear was build No.41) which adds to the uniqueness IMHO. SS

A mate of mine is very interested. Franticly trying to sell his MY04STi at the minute. He saw it on Piston heads.

Could you send my a few pics. I'll PM you my e-mail.

Thanks Eric.

Thanks ericsti,
I've sent you an e-mail with a link to a web page with all the high quality photo's on which is www.ian-birkett.com. The login name is ianb and the password is kawasaki, but note that the login process is temperamental, it can take 4 or 5 times to get in. Let me know what you think. SS.
PS - Nice bugeye, I had a 2001 STi that was upgraded by Litchfield - 2.5 engine, remap, turbo upgrade, exhaust upgrade - what a difference! When I came to sell that one, I had a look at a Tiley's "Sports tuned" STi which, by comparison to my bugeye, was as flat as a witches tit, anyway, I'm rambling, must be due a nappy change by now, I'll ask my carer......
