Default 'Street look' '93 wrx

Hi guys!

well its time to get rid of my old scoob!

I had the car for about 9years - and loved every minute of her!

The reason for sellling is that I bought a evo6 a while back (just thought I'd try one for a while) but the problem is that I have now fallen in love with the evo! (I know, I know)

So now the scoob (which has been garaged all its life - untill the arrival of the evo) is just sitting on the driveway under cover looking sorry for itself.

the car has been well looked after over the years but just haven't got time for it anymore.

its had thousands spent on it over the years, always well serviced (always millers oil)

The pictures were taken about 9 months ago and since then its just been neglected on the driveway.
So she just needs a bit of tlc to get her back to her former glory (and a damn good polish).

The only problem with the car is that it started to stick (sometimes) in 5th gear. - This is a synchro issue, which can be fixed easily yourself (just means removing the box and taking off centre diff to get at) - (I cant be arsed)
and also the alarm/immobiliser started to play up (had to put remote really close to the dash to disable immobilser) - could just be batteries).

Here is the spec (or at least what I can remember off the top of my head)

2 litre closed deck engine (car has done approx 70k)
td05 turbo
hks filter
hks intake pipe
hks ssqv dump valve
fully ported and polished manifold and uppipe (also heat wrapped and painted)
scorpian open neck downpipe (again wrapped)
lightened flywheel
virtually new paddle clutch
voltage stabilser and earthing kit fitted
ks rom ecu (mapped to 1-1.1 bar)
walbro fuel pump
apexi avcr black (recently fitted but not setup)
nearly 2k worth of tein coilovers with electronic damping controller (controls damping from in cabin)
front upper and lower alloy chassis braces
rear strut brace
godspeed 4 pot calipers
325mm godspeed discs with alloy bells
18inch alloys with good tyres
newer spec interior (works really well with the silver body)
momo steering wheel (with boss extension)
tinted windows (back 3 are blackout, two front are light tint)
....thats all I can think of at the minute

like I said the car now needs a good clean and a bit of tlc.

I want £3500 for her which I think is a very reasonable price considering the spec......

1 uk owner, hpi clear

thanks for looking!

If you got it for free, that would deserve the right to give him a lift home lol

With out trying to look to much of an ****, If the immobilizer is only a battery and the gearbox it 'easy' to fix, Would it not be worth you doing the two job to make it easier for you to sell.
It just when ever I read something like that alarm bells start to ring. If it's easy to fix surely it would be best to fix it?

Nice looking car by the way

What are you doing!!!!!!! Cant believe your keeping the evo and getting rid of the scooby!!! I guess the scooby was just too fast for you and you've decided to keep something slower. Ha!! Good luck with the sale mate.
Free bump for a quailty car thats been well looked after.

but it IS only 5th synchro!!
