As per title.
My ECU is for sale. From an MY02 STI Type UK.
It has an open Ecutek license on it (currently with Bob Rawle)
Looking for around £150
Perfect for an 02 STI owner wanting to get mapped who currently has no ecutek.
All you need to do is pay Bob (or any other ecutek mapper) for his mapping time, thus saving a fortune on the full ecutek license.

I don't think so. I know it won't go in an 02 WRX. You'd have to contact a reputable mapper to find out the answer.

Hi Mark,
I am just about to book my car in with power engineering or JGM to get remapped. With power engineering it will cost me £500 + vat. Then £140 for remaps after that. If i buy your ECU what is involved and how much would the first map cost roughly? Sorry if they seem dumb questions but i'm still learning how it all works.
Cheers,
Doug

Doug, sounds like you really need to speak to Simon (JGM) and ask him. I would use him in preference to PE.
I assume Simon will charge just the hourly rate, as the license is already on the ECU.
Plus you could then sell your ECU on and recoup some money.
