NEW - GT35RST - Turbo Kit - BIG PICS
Garrett GT35RST 4" Inlet with anti-surge housing T3 Flange, 3" V-Band outlet, Oil feed/Return, Water feed/Return
Comp cover has been powdercoated in gunmetal with the tubine bering ceramic coated to ruduce under bonnet temps.
The V-band style turbine ensure easy connection of downpipe / fabrication a lot easier - downpipe flange and all parts included in the sale to connect to a downpipe / my intention was to pickup some stainless mandrel bends and fabricate my own - not rocket science and the V-Band connectors make this a painless operation.
All water and oil fittings supplied, everything you need to connect and tap into oil & water fittings to supply the cooling and lubrication with braided lines & Earls fittings
New style 52trim Comp wheel (should take care of the typical surge issues with the non 'RST' 35R's Rear turbine wheel retains the 84trim, the resized inducer and exducer from a 68mm overall diameter to a 64mm diameter nesstles this turbo in between the GT3076R & GT3582R with no power deficiencies.
Should spool like a 76R but deliver the power like a GT35R - ideal for 1.8 - 2.0 capacity to reduce some of the lag associated with such a large turbo on relatively small capacity engine, I was looking at 3700 spool hopefully delivering the goods to the redline with correct mapping and timing
Correctly mapped this will see 700whp but I was looking at circa 500whp knowing I could use the extra capacity with further supporting mods later down the line.
Turbo will bolt onto any T3 flanged manifold and will require an external wastegate, I also have a brand new Tial 38mm wastegate, steel gasket and 1 bar spring available too..
This was a complete custom order from Garrett USA and not an off the shelf item, the turbo has not been used and comes with the complete fitting kit - I'm asking £1,400 for this kit, given you'll need to add a manifold, downpipe and wastegate I recon you could deliver a 700whp package for circa 2 Grand.. not bad really..
