Cheers lads. Still not sure im doing the right thing but an offer pops up and the guy wil enjoy it, then time for a new project!

By the way guys, alot of goodies on this car so if you feel you havent got all funds, few goods could come off and sold a bit cheaper. I doubt people will want to do this but thought ill mention.

Good luck with the sale mate. A quck question for you if you don't mind, do you tget any rubbing on the arches with the 225 profile tyres?

Cheers guys.

I know I should get some better pics but will wait for a lovely sunny day and a good wash beforehand People have seen the car at shows/events anyway.

So many goodies on, I dont think I would have the heart to break. Who knows - ill get bored one day and it will start getting stripped!

Best price so far is £11k though someone has offered £10k and for me to take some goodies off.

If I split, and prices go at a reasonable price (for example Ap brakes retail £1800 and my price is £800) then it will break to £14k easily

Martin - no rubbing with those tyres - think P1 suspension helps alot.

If you sell this car for an Evo I will personally come around to your house and give you a swift kick in the knackers to make you see sense

Don't sell it fella, I'm sure a man of your caliber, vast knowledge and financial worth you can afford to buy somthing to sit along side her.... Or has the missus spunked all your funding on.... well woman stuff :P

As above - Can't see the point in selling it for an EVO. Been there done that, and didn't like it. A 2.5 classic even midly modded makes for a much better road car than even say a 400/400 Evo. Its all about the torque, and your not going to get anything remotely close to what you have even with a budget 2/3 times the amount. If you thinking you don't really need all that power and would be just an happy with something newer and slower yet still quick you would be wrong.

Buy a second normal boring car as a hack, and keep the scoob IMHO.

Only that you had a few odds and sodds, assume nothing has changed yet?

As above, having finally got the car right, you'd be a fool to sell it

Have to agree with you there, Id take this scoob with this spec over most Evo's, personally you will find any EVO boring compared to this scoob with this spec unless you spend another £30k tuning a Evo which would be pointless.

Good luck with the sale!!! But the grass is not always greener over the dark side!!!

Cheers for the comments guys.

Ive been debating about selling for the dark side for ages. Always pros and cons for both but it does seem alot of scoob owners sell up, go to evo, and then come back to the scoobs. Spoke to a few guys on email who are interested and they went evos but now want to come back to scoobs.

Got a second car - saab. Fun to fil up the boot for car parts but otherwise i drive it now and again and get bored!

I was thinking about selling the scoob and going for a later classic with less power but more of you are convincing me to just keep!

Just keep the bloody thing and hit the shows with me this year!!!

All that time and effort mate... I know things in life change but some things must remain constant.

If I was you I'd give it till the sunny weather comes and then make a decision!!!
