NOW SOLD
1994, 5 door wagon in forest green metallic, 10 months MOT.

I’ve owned it for nearly 7 years, with one other owner since new. I used this car daily until my commute involved a 150 round mile trip and a diesel beckoned. I decided to keep it as a toy, but in reality have done hardly any miles in it since retiring it to stable, which is why I’m reluctantly deciding to move on, having thought I’d never part with it.
In Jan 06 it underwent a full drivetrain swop with a low mileage JDM WRX, it now has the rare closed deck block engine, with steel Cometec headgaskets, the all important oil pump mod, new cambelt and tensioners undertaken by the renowned Subaru specialists DMC engines (ex Prodrive WRC engine builder & all receipted.) prior to being fitted with the matching WRX box and rear diff. (Provides shorter ratios than the UK models.)
(The car has since covered just over 2k miles since being fitted.)
Extras / upgrades include:
Air con (very rare option on the early UK models)
Remapped ECU (“Scoobyecu”) and necessary for running the JDM engine on UK fuel
Prodrive Bilstein suspension. (Firm but comfortable ride.)
Decat Hayward and Scott stainless downpipe
Resonated Magnex decat stainless centre section
Prodrive WRSport stainless back box
The exhaust provides the famous Scooby burble, whilst remaining discreet and not being an attention seeker. (A standard exhaust can also be included in the sale)
16” later spec wheels
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/Duncan99/Impreza%20pics/Imprezaside3.jpg)
Towbar (single electrics and rarely used to pull a small trailer)
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/Duncan99/Impreza%20pics/Imprezarear3.jpg)
Later spec “bucket” style black and grey front seats
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/Duncan99/Impreza%20pics/ImprezaInterior3.jpg)
Although the car shows 150k (c.11k pa), the reality is the entire drivetrain is low mileage and in perfect working order, the suspension has been upgraded and it has the advantages of the later interior and wheels. Never tracked or raced and of course HPI clear.
Bodywork isn’t perfect …usual car park dings and scratches, but nothing sinister !
All the advantages of the UK car with the power of the WRX ! (I’d estimate c.280 bhp), and is superb value for money.
(The private plate has now been removed and replaced with the original “M” reg)
Only issues are the rear wiper doesn’t return to base & hatch central locking has ceased working (fine with the key).
Located between Reading and Newbury
£2,250 ovno (No silly offers as I’ll keep it)
(Some spares also available dependant on price)
Please PM me for more info.
