hi fella, as you may have read, my scoobs away now as the gearbox went two saturdays ago.

what sort of mileage has it done. i believe its from an sti3. will that go into a uk99 turbo?

from what i know, jase@ scoobybits is taking the gearbox out to determine the damage, then if needs be popping in a second hand one, or replacing busted parts.

just want some more general info. gearboxes are not my forte.

Just because the codes do not match does not mean it won't fit because it will the difference will be in the front drive..

I know it would fit the reason I posted the link was to help out.
Its one thing fitting....a totally different matter that the gear ratios are different to my existing box.

yeah, me and 404 discussed that via pm mate.

assuming the diffs were matched, would that mean quicker acceleration and shorter gears? ie nomore 40mph at 2k revs in 4th like on uk cars now.
