FS: 2006 Specialized Allez Comp (Double) Gerolsteiner 56cm
I'm testing the water here really. During the 2007 TdF I got all keen on getting back into road riding and bought a brand new road bike from Noahs Ark - Mountain Bikes and Snowboard Shop Online
It's a 2006 Specialized Allez Comp (Double) Gerolsteiner - 56cm frame size, which was brand new RRP £1299.99 and reduced to £999.99 since it's last years colours.
I took it home and apart from 2x 30 min turbo trainer sessions in the garage, it hasn't been used. I've basically been using my old MTB instead.
Since it's basically unused, and isn't likely to be. I was thinking of selling it before it gets any wear and while it's still in A1 condition - as long as I don't lose too much money on it.
I'm asking £750 for it, which is 25% off what I paid and 43% off RRP.
Summarised spec below, full details here: http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkM...006&spid=21578
FRAME Specialized E5, fully manipulated Columbus SLX tubing, compact race geometry, FACT carbon seatstays with Zertz inserts .
FORK Specialized FACT monocoque carbon fork legs, crown, and steerer with Zertz inserts.
RIMS Mavic Aksium.
FRONT HUB Mavic Aksium, 20 hole, Mavic QR.
REAR HUB Mavic Aksium, 24 hole, Mavic QR.
SEAT POST Specialized Pavé FACT carbon seatpost with Zertz insert, 27.2mm.
GROUPSET Shimano 105

I'll add a few photos to this thread shortly, but the bike is basically "as new".
PM me if you're interested.
Cheers,
Iwan
