Default Rota alloys that require a refurb (18")

Rota GRA/Tarmac alloys in Gunmetal. 18/45/100

Now, before you read on. These wheels will need refurbing. Two of the wheels have buckles. One is slight and the other is a little more. I've taken all x4 wheels to be checked and the two wheels that are buckled read on the balance machine 45/100 (the worst one) and 15/100 (slight) . The other two alloys are fine with no buckles but for slight kerb markings etc.

They come with 225/40 18 Kumho KU15's with hardly any wear at all. However, on the most affected alloy I'd strongly suggest the tyre to be replaced.

The reason they are in this condition is my car was hit by some young fool driving on my side of the road. Hence why two wheels are worse than the other and the front left clipped a rock hidden in undergrowth due to the same incident.

I was going to keep these myself and get them refurbed and put some winter tyres on. But have since changed my plans.

I am Selling these as requiring a refurbed and have clearly stated that two of these wheels are buckled and one tyre will need to be replaced.

X4 ALLOYS
X4 KUMHO KU15's 225/40 18"
X4 CENTRE CAPS

Genuine sale. NO JOKERS PLEASE.

good luck with the sale steve
as many people will remember I sold similar rota's and tyres a while back, again with a lot of kerbing, similar to these. And luckily someone on here understood that some form of buckling or heavy kerbing is repairable.

You may need to take some photos to send to anyone interested showing the damage, so ppl can fairly assess the state of the rims and make their judgement.

Ok. Here are some photos.

These photos were taken with the wheels on my car so you can see the damage.

The wheels are kept in a friends garage and he is working odd shifts this week so unable to get in his garage. But least it gives you an idea of damage etc.

This is the wheel with the worst buckle & the tyre I'd suggest to replace. You can see the marks of damage.

This is the other buckled wheel that isn't so bad. Sorry for the poor picture.

This was the left front. As you can see not much damage etc.

The 4th wheel I have no photos. As there isn't any damage from the accident. Just some minor kerb marks from previous.

Thanks for your time.

Is that a crack in the top pic, on the very left of the rim?

Might just be the pic not right, or a bit of shrapnel. Just thought i'd mention it to you, incase others are seeing it.

Hey mate,

No cracks at all. The marks are from where the damaged body work caught the alloy as I had to take it over speed humps etc.

Thanks for pointing it out mate.

I've moved these alloys now to some where else so will be cleaning them up and take another picture or two. This way you can see them off the car and most of the tyre marks on the alloys will come off too. But this is of course just to give people a better idea.

Cheers

A slight hold up in the photos. But will have them up by the end of the week or at the latest over the weekend.

Just haven't had time to do it due to work and looking after my little boy.
