Default MODIFIED 2003 FORD FOCUS RS Px/Swap for Scooby

Right then, this is a 2003 Ford Focus RS which is the later car that comes with the pink throttle cable, RS stitched seat base.

It has 25.000miles at time of this advert, but may change as it is used everyday by my girlfriend to go to work and back!!!!

Car is HPi clear, never been in a accident and there's no finance on it, as it was paid for in cash!!!

The car is regularly polished and waxed every weekend, and interior is valet every month!!!!

Tax is not due until 31st Jan 2008, and MOT until 31st July 2008

Alloys are in mint condition and where powder coated gloss black in March 2007!!!!!

Car was also serviced at 21k miles and will not need doing until another 5k miles or 12 months what ever comes sooner!!!

Also comes with the following modifications!

Performance:
Milltek Sports Cat
Milltek cat back exhaust system
Milltek Ceramic Coated manifold (brand new 50miles ago)
K&N Gen II induction kit
Bailey blow off valve
Motorsport HT leads
Bleed Valve
Bluefin Ecu remap

Others:
Powdercoated Gloss Black wheels with Michelin pilot sport tyres
Blue 3-point Race harnesses (Can be removed)
RS floor mats
Also comes with Private plate: J20 ONS (not in pictures)

Also have a rolling road printout where the car made 270bhp 310lb/ft on powerstation rollers with the standard manifold, im expecting it to be around the 280bhp mark now and well over the 310lb/ft with the new ceramic coated Milltek manifold which are close to £1000 brand new!!!! This car is very quick and hasnt 4wd transmission losses slowing it down, once rolling this car is faster then my old Scooby and Evo VII that where well over 300bhp....

Insurance is only a group 16, so is quite cheap for a performance car, I pay £800(24years old with 0 ncb), Just had a renewal quote of £699 (24years old with 1 ncb) with Elephant.co.uk

Petrol wise I get about 270-280miles to a tank of petrol £40 fills the tank!!!!

Servicing is about £200 from Ford main dealers or £160 from most RS specialists, so its very, very cheap to run!!!!

Car also comes with private plate J20 ONS as I cant be bothered taking it off the car and waiting for the log book to come back from the DVLA, so that can go with the car, Im guessing the numberplate is worth some money!!!!!

Car is in mint condtion and runs perfect, only bad points is that it has the usual stonechips with 1 stonechip being noticable on the bonnet, I have touched it in with a touch up pen but you can see it if you look at it close.

Price: £14.000 o.v.n.o or I will swap or Px for a 03-05 STi, or WR1 or Spec C + cash your way!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!!

Wheels look so much better in the flesh, and look miles better when parked up against a standard Focus RS with boring silver wheels!!!!

Cant recommend them enough, they really are a great car even standard the brakes and suspension are amazing!!!! and with the extra mods to this car its bloody quick as well!!!!

Standard spec they come with the following:

Forged pistons and Rods
WRC oil cooler
big injectors
heavy duty AP clutch
Brembo 4 pots 325mm discs

so getting big power out of the engine is only a bigger turbo away, I was intending to go for a GT28 turbo which would have took the power to 330bhp or even a GT29 which can take it to 380bhp, there are a few tuners who have 400bhp out of the Focus RS on standard internals!!!!

Only downside is 330+bhp FWD car is going to be a nightmare to get the power down, shame really as the engine and gearbox standard can take a lot of power!!!!! shame it wasnt 4wd!!!!

Fantastic car, with great well chosen mods.

I helped the development of these cars and they're an awesome drive.

Good luck with your sale mate, if i didnt want to keep my scooby i may well of had this.

Theyre a great drive Steve,

These things are just so exciting with torque steer on tap and just an all round laugh to drive, maybe not as quick as your spec C on track but certainly more rewarding and wouldnt be far behind.

These things in stock form will out pace a stock evo/sti on track anyday.

A very very capable car IMO.

Add a turbo to this package and youre in for a serious treat of a car!!!

Id deffo recomend it as a stop gap between the Spec C and Noble

They really are a great car to drive, and not many people realise how quick they actually are with a few mods. And with the torquesteer it really does give you that adrenalin rush when you floor it.

Here is a thread of when I meet a 300bhp scooby owner on a road near me last December, only mods where a exhaust system and bluefin chip!!!
