Friend of mine runs 500 - 550bhp on one of these. Thought about changing my APS top mount for one but cant afford it at the moment. IIRC he paid about £1000 for it new.

Dry your eyes for fu*ck sake.

I just dont want to see someone ending up with an intercooler that will wrot, and there have been quite a few of them this has happened to.

Fair enough may have been bad luck but there are far better coolers ie Hyperflow and APS

HKS FMIC's are superb, they dont rot (my matey boy m0ney has had one on his car for years now and its bullet proof), I'd buy this one but its got an ssqv on it and that doesnt suit my needs, this one is a decent price considering it has an arguably £150-200 dump valve welded to it.

no but it was a few years ago when they were more expensive to buy fmic's
