Default 541bhp & 575 lb/ft MY02 Scooby For Sale

I've thought about this for a while now, and have been umming and erring about selling. Heart wrenching though it is, I have finally decided that its time to sell.
Asking price was £25k, updated price - £20k

That may seem a lot for an 02 bugeye Sti Prodrive, but if you consider that a standard bugeye Sti prodrive Style is currently going for about £12k, then look through the spec below you'll get an idea of just how much time, effort and money has gone into this car. At the asking price this scoob really is a snip.

Engine Specifications:
  • 2.3 closed deck block re-linered to 2.3 with thick liners, vinolia pistons (new build may be JE Pistons), billit crank, race bearings, PAR. rods,12mm head studs, and JE pins
  • Cometic head gaskets
  • Uprated oil pump
  • Oil Catch Can
Turbocharger & Induction:
  • Turbo Dynamics Hybrid Turbo
  • Turbosmart Eboost2 Boost Controller
  • Typhoon Cold Air Induction
  • Forge Motorsport Dump Valve
  • Wizard Of NOS Streetblaster with Maximiser Progressive Controller & 50hp jets (Capable of taking up to 150hp jets, 75hp and 100hp jets included in sale)
Fuel, Tuning & ECU:
  • Perrin Fuel Rails
  • Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator
  • 740cc Injectors
  • Bosch Fuel Pump
  • Autronics ECU mapped at Scooby Clinic, running on V Power (including sacked speed delimitter)
Exhaust:
  • Scooby Clinic Turbo Back Decat
  • Heatwrapped GT Spec Gen 2 Headers
Drivetrain:
  • Standard Sti 6 Speed Manual
  • SPEC Stage 2 Organic Clutch
  • Subaru Quickshift
Weight Reduction & Transfer:
  • 4.32kg Fidanza Flywheel
  • Scooby Clinic Lightened Pulleys
Suspension, Wheels, Tyres & Brakes:
  • 18" Inovit Apis With Toyo R888 Tyres
  • Lowered 40mm on Eibach Springs
  • Standard 4 Pot Sti brakes (This was on the list for the next upgrade)
Interior & ICE:
  • Defi BF Gauges - Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, EGT
  • Hard wired GPS speed camera detector
Exterior:
  • Perrin Front Mount Intercooler
  • Front Mount Process West Oil Cooler
Performance:

With 50hp Shot Of NOS
  • Max power - 541 bhp
  • Max torque - 575 lb/ft
Without NOS (approx)
  • Max power - 500 bhp
  • Max torque - 500 lb/ft
At a recent RWYB at Elvington this car achieved a 12.03 @ 118mph, thats with 2/3 a tank of petrol and lots of bits in the boot uincluding spare wheel and tools. The GT Spec Anti Lift Kit and Coil Overs were purchased to help get traction down on launch, with some weight loss this car should be capable of at least low 11's. The long term plan had always been to sneak into the 10's. With not a lot of work and tweaking this is a realistic target and could be easily realised by the right purchaser.

Piccies can be found here:

(ADDED) More piccies here:
Scooby City Gallery

Car comes with a GT Spec Anti Lift kit and G Force coil overs.

The car is currently having an engine rebuild at scooby clinic following a 'pinched' bore. The sale price of the car will include the rebuild costs.

25k

There is no easy way to say this without sounding rude or offensive but none the less that price is out of this world.

I can understand that you have spent allot of dosh but at the end of the day its still just another modified impreza.

I think you may need to elaborate a bit more on your spec list as it looks a bit thin. (I'm only trying to help)
Does it have brakes to match the power, theres no mention.

I hope you don't take this as a personal attack on you or your car but a re think of that price tag is urgently needed.

Rob, thanks for your input

I can understand what you're saying, but if you consider that standard Sti Pridrive bugeyes are going for £12k, with whats gone into this car an extra £13k isn't beyond the realms of reality.

I understand I may have to take a cut in price if I don't get the interest, but at the moment I'm not in too much of a rush to sell, and I do believe £25k is a realistic price foer the car and spec.

Will elaborate further on the spec tonight.

Still for sale, after some thought on the price am now looking for £22k

Thats just £10k more than a standard Sti Prodrive and with a fantastic spec! this car has had literally tens of thousands of pounds spent on it.

Bump, impending house move forces a bit of a price reduction to £20k

Standard ones are going for £12k, you'd have to spend well over twice the difference to get this spec!
