Thanks for that. I have been lurking here for a while and your car made me take the plunge.I have always had a soft spot for the classic wagon, the kids are off doing their own thing now but we still need a bit of space for luggage and the dog etc. but I don't need the people carrier anymore for that! I want to have a bit of fun!
You mentioned a full spec, can you post it here or would you prefer email then?

OK, having spent most of the day convincing the missus this is a good idea I have decided to come and have a look if that's ok!
Where abouts are you? Could you perhaps drop me a pm or mail so we can swap contact details?
Thanks
Mark

I would like to start by thanking Thedevilandhiscar for his candor and community spirit by making me aware of the potential pitfalls of performance motoring
Many thanks
So I took the liberty of obtaining a full spec for this WRXSTi hybrid
I am sure, if you push for it, the seller will throw in a packet of socks

Impreza as they are the most reliable car you can own (if you look after
them and dont do silly engine mods) and yet still out perform silly money
sports cars.
This impreza has been serviced regularly, and has only ever had good fuel,
its always warmed up and cooled down correctly.
On the last service it had fully synthetic Racing oil, (Silkolene Pro S)
Blitz Plugs, New Coil packs x 4, New Leads, cam belt and a brand new
Performance Filter (all less than 3000 miles ago) oil will need doing in the
next 500 miles or so, but I presume anyone who buys the car will want to
service the car for their own peace of mind anyway as I would.
the car is on original clocks and is showing a little over 98k kms, which
equivilates to approximatly 58500 miles.
I have listed below some points to note about the car, I have also listed
approx prices paid for all the items, to give you an idea of what I have
spent.
STI Bits. (its not an sti)
* Full STI Version 1 interior (£500)
* STI Rear spoiler (£180)
* 22b STI Steering Wheel (£120)
* STI **** (£50)
* Real STI Wing Badges and decals (£30)
* STI Decals on Mirrors
* Rare STI Wagon Rear Lights (£220)
Other Bits.
* EBC Red Stuff pads all round (the brake lights on, but I have been
told its because they are after market) (£180)
* Whiteline ARB's all round with an anti lift kit (£150) (£80)
* 3 Paddle Clutch (I seem to remember it being a Greddy, but im not 100%
on that) it was expensive and its a tuner clutch.(£lots!)
* Uprated Injectors (ile need to confirm what these are as I cant
remember)
* Cobra Cat 1 Alarm/immobiliser, with Black Jax (dont ask me how it
works ive never used the black jax) just one fob.
* Subaru Dog Guard, and Subaru Plastic Floor protector. (£50) (£40)
* Colour Coded Handles (£40)
* Speedline Anthracite alloys, with 4 matching nearly new tyres. (£200)
(£280)
* Baily Twin piston DV (still have original) (£45)
Bad Bits.
* Central locking has stopped working.
* Brake light on constantly (as mentioned above, as after market brake
pads used)
* bubbling on O/S/R Arch (been quoted £120 by scoobyclinic to fix, it
needs doing, but its not serious)
* Alloys are all marked, one is worst than the others, not that bad
though.
* Top of rear bumper is marked where the dog has caught it with his
nails, its not serious but worth mentioning.
all the above is reflected in the price, as I am sure you are aware if I
were to split and put the car back to standard I would get a lot more.
the car is is in excellent condition, Mechanically the car is perfect and
the engine is sweet.
if you need anymore help let me know.
I have done an extra oil service yesterday and have put new 5w 40 pro s race
oil in.

Your car is a lovely example of what it is and you haven't tried to misrepresent it
