Default V High Spec MTB

I have for reluctant sale my mountain bike... up for sale because it's underused, in fact it's hardly ever been used as my belly can play testament to. It's been sat covered in my parents garage for the last 4 years as I've nowhere to store it.

As such it might be a relatively old model (99/2000 Model) but it is in fantastic condition, and you'd be hard pressed to find such a quality bike laden with such quality components at a similar price point.

It cost the better part of £1000 when new, subject to perhaps a servicing and a wash (because its been stood for such a long time) it's in an as new condition.

So the details..
Hellcat MTB - Yellow/Silver/Black colouring
Lightweight alloy frame
Lightweight alloy quick release wheels
Gel filled quick release saddle
Adjustable indexed front suspension
Adjustable rear suspension
Full Maguira Hydraulic Disc Brakes
27 Speed Shimano LX Mega 9 Gears & lightweight crank with Shimano indexed STI shifts
SPD (clipped) pedals - easily usable with standard footwear however
Road going/downhill kevlar reinforced (anti puncture) tyres

Although in excellent condition, the price reflects its age, and the fact it could probably use a servicing before being used in anger.. although probably no problems just using it as a road bike. Don't be confused at later models with the same name, as is often the case with facelifted cars later models came in a much toned down format with lesser quality parts (aka cost cutting for lower more attractive RRP).

Offers around £320
Collection Only!
PS will give it the once over, and probably get the Megs out and looking brand spanking if I get a good offer.

The bike is in Doncaster, actually not sure of the frame size..... I'd say it's 18" at a minimum.. sorry I just know it's more than big enough for me.. I'm just shy of 6ft.

To answer the above question, the frame is 17" according to the label on the bike.

Spec sounds great for some lucky chap.

17" frame for a six footer ? I'm 6'2" and use a 22", my mate who is 5'6" uses an 18" frame.

The frame size is deceptive, I'm 5'10 (and a bit.. ) and I can literally only just touch the floor with the tips of my toes, and there's more room to manoeuvre with the seat post etc.

The frame itself may seem like it on the small size, but you will tend to find this to be true on many full suspension bikes. The "slack" so to speak for taller people is easily taken up by the suspension (which you can adjust for height & weight) + the adjustment offered by the seat post & handlebars.

I would say this bike is easily good for a 6 footer, and probably a little taller. I used to ride a 22" frame and have no problems whatsoever with this.

BTTT with a price reduction... £250

Gotta be worth £250 of anybody's money who's in the market for a decent bike!

Edit:
Oh and if anybody is wondering why it hasn't sold yet... well basically because I'm a lazy **** and I haven't advertised it anywhere..
