This is an excellent piece of kit.
It's basically a K&N 57i copy, right down to the fittings which include a bracket to prevent MAF damage through vibration.
The cone is a direct copy with the exception being the top doesn't have K&N embossed on it (but you can't see that bit anyway)

Too noisey for me (must be getting old)

Only fitted today and tested. The induction noise and dump valve tisscchhhh...is to much for my liking.

I'm not sure if it will fit an MY98 STI due to the different MAF, as an adaptor bolts to the MAF to fit the filter.
It's on flea bay at the moment, if you want to measure the pitch of the MAF mounting hols, I will confirm if they are the same.
