It has a standard CD drive, but you can buy an external DVD writer that connects into the USB port for £15.00 brand new if you want to use it for writing DVD's. The reason its for sale is because i have a brand new HP, this has been a good little machine.

pmsfl if it was it wouldnt of lasted an hour at that price

 

Misco were selling external DVD writers (16x) for £14.99 last week but they were not dual layer. I bought an internal one from them recently for a pc and it cost me £28.00 includng VAT and that is dual layer, writes in both + AND - format.
