Default Version 6 seats

Out of my Ltd Edition. Thinking of changing these what are they worth?

There cant be many v5/v6 ltd edition seats in the country........i,d think £300 would be a fair price.

What you gonna replace them with?

Some carbon/kevlar jobbies.

Saw an ad last month in one of the jap mags for P1 seats. Company was megamodz and they had a sale on. The pair were advertised for £475 if i remember right so the v.ltd's should sell for more than that. To add to that, it was only the ver.6's that had the blue seats and i can assure you, there aint a lot of ver.6 v.ltd's in the country. In other words, rare as hen's teeth!

Simon - I think Cyprusscooby was after a pair for his v.ltd. He asked for mine if the car was going to be a write off. If you're getting bucket seats and they're of high quality, give us a shout as i need to get myself one for competition. Might be able to get a deal...

Seems a shame to get rid of them (thinking about future re-sale)

I mean, if I was looking for a version 6 type r then I'd want to see it was original, or at least had original bits with it. They are pretty rare and would be silly to loose the seats it left the factory with, no?

Ditto. Think the silver plastic bits spoil them. Could always get them painted i suppose. Think Recaro recliners are quite smart though...depending on what model.

Might not be as dear as you think, a good full leather retrim is about 1K, the front seats are the hard bit, so a rear seat, 2 door cards and 2 rear door trims should be no more than £500 - £600 in theory, ps I know your front seats aren't leather but material costs should be similar. Would then look like how it should of come out of the factory.

If not stick an RB5, 22B or STI 7 - 8 rear seat in and a set of door trims and side trims from a 22B, could be a cheaper option.
