You may be right, I found then in a magazine some time ago so might be remembering incorrectly. The car has Prodrive stickers on it so maybe it was a special or a previous owner just made some changes.



Possibly please supply details of the car, (age, colour, price, etc.. pictures if possible) and where you are.

Hi mate, i am interested in this car! is it definitely a uk turbo 2000 and not a wrx thats uk registered? just asking as i cannot get insurance for a wrx model.

How long have you owned the car and whats the reason for selling? also if you have them, could you email a couple more pics of the exterior please

I got a MY95 Uk turbo impreza saloon, in the same colour !!

I went for mine cos of insurance (only 20 when i bought it) & i love it !!

Just cant wait til a bit older when i can afford import insurance.

where did you get yours Taffy? i'm 20 aswell, insurance sucks!! but if i can get my hands on a good uk model, then cant wait. hoping i might be able to get one this weekend!

Hiya mate,

My insurance is through Tesco's. I paid about £1800 Fully comp when i 1st got it, but had to buy a full monitor tracker system with the additional cat 1 alarm and immobilser.

Its in the garage, limited mileage, in wales in the sticks and i had 2 full years no claims when i got it.

I'm 21 now and its gone down to £1400.

mate just get one, you will not regret it.

P.s Do a search about insurance, cos i know there's usually regular posts about it.

 

Yes its defiantly a UK I didnt want to pay the 50% extra on insurance for a WRX. Ive owned it since July 2002, I wish i could keep the car, I just need to get a car with a larger boot i.e. an estate, I have other hobbies that require a lot of kit... Will email some more pics direct.

Anything else please don't hesitate to contact me, email is better as I dont get on Scoobynet as often as I would like.
