Cool $$ 1986 Ford Capri 1.6 Lazer $$

As I'm now the proud owner of a Pug 205, the time has come to sell the OFFICIAL Essex Scooby Crew Capri as I'm sure the neighbours won't be too amused. I have only owned it since June and have used it everyday, it has NEVER failed me.

The good points:

Mileage: 94,000
Taxed until July 2005
MOT'd until June 28th 2005.

ALL the electrics work, although the interior clock has been a bit funny since the clocks went back.
NEW tyres fitted in August, about 1500 since being fitted. Spare looks original and has never been on the road. 4 Spoke alloys (similiar to RS)
NEW back box fitted 3 weeks ago, rest of exhaust renewed very recently.
Interior in A1 condition, very little wear on drivers seat. Even less on passenger and rear seats.
Original AM radio fitted, UNCUT dashboard fitted (Cut dash in boot thrown in for free if you want to fit a DIN stereo)
Car has a rear parcel shelf (not A1 but still serves it's purpous)
2 way sunroof.
K & N air filter and Webber carb fitted. It has also been changed to a manual choke.
Prior to buying it, the former owner stuck NEW brake calipers and pads on. Car has done about 3000 since they were fitted.

The bad points:
As per any 18 year old Ford, there is a bit of rot. The seals have had two small holes welded (about the size of a 2p peice). There is a bit of rust on the front offside wing where it meets the headlamp. Nothing horrendous though. Rear wings are in good condtion, although at some point it has had a small scrape on the rear offside wing.
The aerial was electric. It is stuck in the up position .Upon starting up, the motor runs briefly making a clicking sound. Manual aerial also thrown in for nowt.
The a small bit of headlining on the sunroof was ripped by the previous owner, and it flaps down (Approx 5 inches wide).
I haven't any history with the car. Only that it travelled a whole 16 miles between the MOT's 2003/2004
Pictures will be posted soon (thanks to Phil S for doing his David Bailey bit and to XtremeScoobies for providing the lovely backdrop )

Good cars are going for 1500-2000, sheds are fetching 300-500. I'm looking for 700 with tax, 650 without.

Car can be viewed in sunny Essex, 10 minutes from Junc 26 off M25.
PM me for any more details or for viewing

Gordon,

Don't worry, the Terzo is still safe and serving me well, current mileage 38k . Can't believe it's been over 3 years!

Had the Capri as a runaround, but I've now bought the Pug for work and occasional track day. Don't wanna get the Scoob dirty now, do I

Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and have a Happy New Year.

Richbay, I look forward to hearing from you

Liverpool Victoria, I pay 225 FULLY COMP. However, I am 37 with full NCB.

You'll probably get a good quote via here: www.capriclub.co.uk

There are a couple of places or perhaps Loot

I may just break it up and sell the parts, probably worth more that way, what with all the new parts. Shame though, as it's a good one
