Alright peeps...

After the successful testing of some pukka Yokohama slicks I am pleased to announce that I can now get a limited number of these for other people.
They are race spec, and have only been used for one race.
The compound is quite hard, so they'll last longer (I reckon at least 3/4 track days, maybe more) and they're very progressive with it, so much better on your car! :
I can confirm that the grip is nothing short of phenomenal.
When new, they are £150 EACH.
I can get them for £150 FOR THE SET OF FOUR!!
Anyone interested please e-mail me.
Serious enquiries only.
First come, first served.

Stef.

Nice one Stef,

I'll take a set of 16", they should work a treat at Silverstone. Just make sure that they're not a set that you have already mullered. How did Revs get that shot of you with all four tyres smoking heavily? BTW 4.52s!!!!! Well done.

I will take 4 for 16 inch rims please, as long as they weren't the ones you used in Revs.

Hello again.

Demand may well outstrip supply by the number of e-mails I've had. Thanks everyone.
I'll try to sort out as many as poss'.
For your information, the size of the tyres is 190/580 R16, which I believe is the equivalent of a 195/45/16. They fit std 16" rims like mine perfectly. They are lower profile than the road tyre, which is obviously better for track use.

Stef.
PS They were NOT on my car at the REVS shoot. I couldn't do that on them, believe me!
The smoking tyre picci is actually me coming out of a 360 by the way.

Tony.

Slicks are not allowed at TRAX.
Are you going to the RSOC day?

Stef.

Stef,

Not planning to, but I could probably make it if there are any places available (Where? When?). I think that I would have to draw the line at joining RSOC though Otherwise I'll be at Abingdon on the same day as you. I'll probably be out at the Nurburgring at the end of this month if you're still interested in that. I'm not sure whether you're allowed to use slicks there. I'll have to ask around, or maybe just get some grooves cut into them. I presume that we could do this for TRAX too. Shame about the "no passengers" rule.

Stef,
Suppose it's too much to ask to get some 17s?
You know it makes sense!

Question

Stef - is it just 16's then or can you get 17's or even 18's?
