Default Value of imports with mods

Guys maybe have to sell the scoob very shortly, due to possible new job/less dosh?

What do you's think my car would be worth.

MY04 Jan 04 53 Plate. WR Blue WRX. 11.000 Miles FSH EU Import. Rac trackstar 24 hour protector, cat1 Alarm

Mods- Full decat magnex/Panel filter/TEK 3 remap/front strut brace (exhaust wrap)

always run on optimax.
Rolling roaded before remap at 257bhp, hoping for around 280bhp similar torque figure, at next RR.

Just looking for an estimate as hard to judge now the mods have been fitted.
Anyone bought or sold an import with mods recently.

Money spent including purchase £19000

Paul

Sorry to hear that Paul,

Good luck with the sale.

I reckon £14000 may be realistic?

Its not a definite Brian that i will have to sell. Its only a possibility depending on how my future employment works out, i may get a job with a salary that allows me to keep it, but on the other hand the salary could possibly be £1000 less a month to what i am earning just now. Anyway will hopefully know for certain within the next month.

£14000, i bloody hope not, a dealer offered me more than that yesterday.
£5000 depreciation in 5 months, bit steep.

Would probably accept £14000 without any mods, mods alone including Tracker/decat/tek 3 remap come to the £2000 mark, think if it was the case, i'd just bloody keep it and buy a run around for getting to work. We'll see

Paul

Hi stephen. It will either go one way or another. staff nurse(ITU)at present working agency, so the cash is good(very good infact). However it has to come to an end, so i am looking at medical sales/advisor type role, which if i get, i get a company car with good salary(problem solved). however if that does not work out its back to the hospital scene, which pays **** poor. hope i dont have to sell as it would be a huge loss+the lose in money from the sale.
As i had said, not in a mad rush, was just trying to guage interest in the possiblity of this occuring. will keep you's posted.

Hello Paul,

If this is any help then here goes.

I bought a 1 year old eu import WRX 03 with 17k which has H&s full decat, TEK 3, 18's aerospeed, eibachs etc. total cost input was 22k. I paid 13k.

I am in the market for another one of the same ilk for a friend of mine who I am persuading to become a scooby owner. PM me or call me for a chat if you like as 14k (plus some) is ok/ in the right price bracket for him and for the spec you describe.

If you want to take it further, can you let me know where you bought it from, who did the mods, service history etc.

Thanks - Adam

Hi Adam thanks for the reply. Got yourself a bargain there mate. Would not be possible for me to drop below the 15k still owe to much on the damm thing. And after all the car is only 5 months old with just over 10k on the clock. If the worst came to the worst i would just hang on to it and buy a run a round, ie cut down on running costs.

Hi Adam, as i said its not a definite as yet, may know a little more over the next few weeks. If i did decide to sell, i would probably go through the advertising process first, just to see what kind of offers i got. At the end of the day i would not be rushing into selling to the first offer i would recieve, as it will not be a desperate rush to sell. If you are still interested in a few weeks i will give you a call with the run down of the car.

cheers for now

Paul
