Default @@@ Newage STi 2.2-turn Quickrack for WRX @@@

As per the title.

This reduces the standard WRX 3.3 turns to a much more accurate and effective 2.2, with a quicker ratio.

This mod is pretty pointless if you use your car to pootle around town or up and down the motorway, but if you use it as intended on b-roads and on track, this is one of the best mods you can do, and you will find you never need to move your hands from the 10 to 2 position even around hairpins!

It was fitted brand new around 4000 miles ago, and I believe they usually retail at around 1k.

Looking for offers around the £350 - 400 mark to make it worth my while paying have it removed and the standard rack refitted.

cheers

Ed

I know someone who can mod this rack and your column so that it will fit on a classic Impreza, and it wouldn't cost a fortune! Subaru quick rack for a classic is in the £1200-1300 price bracket!

Cool

Edcase, thats right mate, get yourself an STi UJ, split it and mate it to you split cassic UJ, bend the power steering pipes (carefully) and Bob's your uncle. My mate kept a copy of the pin he made to join the two UJ's together so can make more whenever needed. He is a Subaru specialist so can fit the rack for you as well.

Ask John Felstead, one of the better mods you can make to any Impreza! As the standard ones are so darn expensive (and rare) somebody ought to make you a decent offer on this!
