I have a STI 4 engine for sale, the bottom end is in need of repair i.e. new pistons, crank, rebore etc.

Just wondered if anybody would be interested in this engine as they are like gold dust to get hold of!

I might be interested in this and I'm in Southampton also so collection will be no problem. What damage is to the engine because I don't need the block, crank, rods and pistons ? ie is there any damage to heads, valves etc and is the engine still fully assembled or stripped down.

I was ideally after an STI 3 engine ( due to them having better cams ) at the end of Feb, but as your so close I could be tempted now if it's sensibly priced.
