i bought it ex display from pc world 8 months ago, as its ex display it doesnt come with box etc, also the battery is missing so ive always used it with power pack, its in good condition and works perfectly

It sounds much the same spec as mine,which i paid £900 for.However they have come down considerably since i brought mine.I reckon yours is worth around £400 2nd hand.Im no expert but thats a fair price.

 

im after a laptop at the minute, when you decide on a price let me know.

can i just make clear that this lappy will be sold once i found a pc, im looking now in classifieds etc so wont take long atall, was trying to swap a ericsson p900 for a pc but didnt get anywere hence now lookin for one cash

I bought a 1.2 Ghz Toshiba Sattelite Pro in June for £380 delivered. It was on eBay for that price. Can give you £300 for yours considering the absence of battery.

as for the price, it pretty much well matches my thoughts.

 

Stick it on ebay, or take it in to your local PC shop they may give you a good trade in price on a desktop.

'IT' is my bag, especialy the hardware end , buying and selling etc.

(In terms of independant advice)
A fair price for your Laptop would be about £310, iv'e considered
all the factors and spec and this would be about right.
So something around this mark should have everyone happy.
(battery will cost between 30-60 quid, a case from 10 quid)

As for a PC, i assume you want a P4!?
If its a mid spec P3 i could offer you something, (Dell Tower GX110) Get in touch if you want more details.

As for a DVD burner i knwo www.dabs.co.uk are offering a multiformat one for about £105 INC. Typ ein '2sjjdm' in the Quicklinx window from main page and you will see the details.
