Question

Bttt

This box will give the car a nice burble sound and slight improvement in performance/response.

Anyone willing to make an offer?

Yes, I had the unit with me, just in case someone wanted to take away with them. Many people looked at the advert, but no takers at the time.

didn't have any cash (or a pen)!

Y are you selling a prodrive bb for a STI8 when you own one with a standard exhaust on? did you not like it?

The reason I have the box is that I bought it for my STI7. Had it on one week before an 80 yr old in a Metro wrote it off for me. So I recovered the backbox, but since buying the STI8 two weeks ago, I've decided to have the PPP fitted after the first service. Hence the reason I no longer need the WR sport backbox and want to sell.

It does improve the sound, so you can hear the flat four burble, without it being intrusive.
Even though it wasn't on my old car for long, it certainly makes the new one seem extra quiet.

May be interested... wrong end of the country though

Got a quote from Whites @ Blackburn for one.... £297+vulture! :O

Just need to pluck up the courage to get a quote for the insurance with one on! If it's bad, the standard box is staying put.

Tony,
The rear of my old car was totally unmarked, the impact took out the front drivers side wing. In fact I'm using the rear wheels and mudflaps from that car on my new one.
There's nothing wrong with it's condition, I know what you mean though about some peoples ideas. Just to give you an idea though, my car is dry use only and always covered. The back box did get quick going over with metal polish as well.

It does give the car a nice burble and is noisier than standard, nothing to the extreme of a Blitz etc, but enough for Joe-public to hear so your not quite as stealthy as standard.
