excuse my stupidity because i've got no idea when it comes to this sort of thing, but my friends just bought a baileys and said he got a twin piston so that it ticks over on idle. Would i need to but a fitting kit aswell?

The HKS valve is sequential, offers a couple of stages of 'dump', this will make a bailey valve look like a kiddies toy

Fitting wise, it comes with the kit for a MY99/00 car, but I have fitted an identical valve to a MY93 WRX, very straight-forward.

You will have no idle problems with this.
