Steve I'm not sure if it fits a 98, maybe check the Graham Goode website - thats where I bought it.
I have just found the receipt it is actually 11 months old but it did take me about a month to get round to fitting it. And 10 months for my missus to get fed up with the admiring glances females younger than her gave me as I changed gear!!!
