My wife is selling her 1992 J reg black V-Spec Eunos. It has the usual V-Spec extras - aircon, leather seats, Nardi wooden steering wheel/gearknob/handbrake grip, electric windows, alloys wheels, power assisted steering, and speakers in the headrests.

It also has an original fit spoiler, new hood, new tyres, new Alpine CD head unit with Alpine front speakers, and a Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with certificate. It has only covered 56,000 miles (96k km), the cambelt service was done by the import company in August when it first arrived in the country, and the car is still under warranty until the end of the month. Tax and MOT run until the end of August. My wife is the first private owner since import from Japan (it was registered to the importer for a couple of days to speed up the registration process), and the car is in excellent condition.

We need to sell it because we currently have two two door convertibles, and need a more practical car as kids will soon be on the agenda. Selling it now means that the new owner gets the whole of the summer to play out in it, and we get to buy a new car at the knock-down price we have been offered that is only available for a few weeks!

Black is one of the nicest colours for the MX-5, if i had to have a sub 5k summer car thats about as reliable as you can get then an MX-5 would be it.
