Hi,

Are the fog cover original subaru or copies? If original £100 and you pay the postage.

Let me know, cheque could be in the post this evening.

Sold then, e-mail me with an address and I will post a cheque to you tonight. Do the mesh sections pop out easily enough as I am going to have to get them sprayed DBM to match the car?

How easy is the towbar to fit?

Phil,

Having just taken it off, I'd say simple but hard work!!!

The electrics connect straight into the indicator/stop/tail light wiring - the guy who originally fitted mine used the snap connectors to jumper off the OE wiring. The towbar slides up between the rear longitudinal members and is fixed by 4 bolts.

If you're interested I'd give you a hand doing it. Otherwise I know a guy in Reading who'd fit it for £50.

OPM,

I think the skirts were part of the original lease package - I'll check with Tiggs but I wouldn't hold your breath

Re the towbar - they are £215 new + fitting.

http://www.towbarsdirect.co.uk/Subaru.htm

A Subaru dealer would charge upwards of £350 + VAT to fit one.

I paid £150 + fitting only 3 months ago so I reckon it's worth £100 of anyone's money - I'm in no hurry to sell it as it's off the car.

OK, side vents, repeaters and fog covers are now sold.

Can't sell the sills.

The lights are off the car and replaced with pristine new ones so if anyone wants 'em let me know otherwise they'll sit in the garage.

Towbar is still for sale but not for a silly price.

Cheers Phil but you're second in line to Met who'd still have to offer up some more cash to get it.....

Sorry Phil, I had posted twice under 'Wanted' that I wanted Bug Eyes and I thought there'd be loads of takers - there were enough people with MY01's swapping to Morettes etc that i thought I'd have to beat off offers with as stick. In the end i paid £70 for some so I'd have still wanted you to part with some cash if you'd swapped for the Towbar....better luck next time.
