JDM STI 7 MY01

For cosmetic reasons I have changed the headlamps to Morettes and don't need the original headlamps (HIDs). They should fit WRX etc but will need the wiring sorted.

Offers?

How much do you want? Do they plug into the MY02 WRX wiring no probs?

Unfortunately, they will not "plug & play" in a WRX - you need a new wiring loom.

Wanted some of these myself but too much hassle.

As BB points out, the wiring loom will need to be modified. I believe it's not too difficult - if you know what you are doing.

 

Excuse my ignorance if they need wiring on a UK WRX, will they need wiring on a STi 7 Type UK or just plug in ??

na theyll just plug and play into an STI 7, however its more tricky on a WRX(but it is possible - if you get the right plugs from a scrappy - no need to shell out on a loom)

They are Hid's, dont think they will plug/play in a Type UK unless you are selling the ballasts/chokes as well.

*Edit* - Although thinking about it, the bare units themselves should fit ok, did you convert the Morettes to Hid's using the original wiring/chokes ?

The lamps come with the HID units and chokes/chargers or whatever they are. The new morettes are currently halogen but will be upgraded soon.
