Your selling way too cheap sub 10k for a spec D , the brother in-law has one, same colour and spec, he will collapse if I tell him price your selling at, think he paid over 15k in march for his.

Good luck, not that you will need it at this price

You'd be surprised. Absolutely nothing moving at the moment. Was on Pistonheads for two months at £9995. One e-mail! £9500 is my limit though. Not worth selling for less than that.

I think it's worth more, but as you say nothings moving atm. Ironically by the time it sells it's value probably wont be far off.

Will probably still be worth at least £9500 in the Spring when the market will (hopefully) pick up. I don't have to sell which is one good thing at least.

Is EBay really the best place? P/Heads (can see you've tried that) & A/Trader surely. Time is your friend, get a rough idea of ideal price then stick with it.

We sold a 54 plate DC5 for £13k not so long ago low miles though (18k )

TX.

I have used Ebay about 3/4 times in the past five years or so. I find it is good for generating interest and often, even if you don't get a bid, you can sometimes sell outside of ebay via the messaging system. Will wait and see. Pistonheads, for me at least, is generating zero interest at the moment.

Just goes to show doesn't it. Well priced, two mature owners (+ demo), full Subaru history and Subaru warranty, full 12 months MOT and 6 months tax and still no interest. Should have gone long ago but nothing.

here's a little story for you matey.... my friend was recently looking at a astra design 1.7 on a 56 plate, was at £2400 (which was cheap) so my mate left it for a couple of days till his funds had cleared, goes bk on the autotrader to find it. finds it and its up at 3k, so my mate rings him and the conversation was....

my mate: hi mate you still got the astra?
the guy: no sorry its sold,
my mate: ive been interested for a week how come the price went up?
the guy: i had it on at 2400 and there was no real interest, i looked and found it was cheap so put it up at 3k and its gone.

im having the same problem with mine matey,, cheaper than most & higher priced 1s are selling?

just a thought good luck with the sale

Ha ha. Good story. I put mine up at £9995 first. One e-mail. Got told it was too cheap so put it up to £10995. No interest. Then £10495. No interest. Then £9995 again. No interest. On at £9500 now on E-bay and have 12 watchers but no e-mails or viewings so I may be keeping it for now.

They were my thoughts. I don't HAVE to sell it but would be handy if it did go. I'm of the mindset now that I'm keeping it until the Spring at the very least but if it goes beforehand then all well and good. I did plan to leave it on Pistonheads as like you say, it's free, but thought I would have a stab at E-bay just to gauge price and interest.
