Ive been contemplating this for months but unfortunately ive realised i need to let the Type R go for a Newage with the 4 door practicalities! I do a lot of climbing/sky diving/mountain biking and it just cant fit all the gear in so im looking for a SWAP ideally for a newage, with cash your way...in an ideal world id be looking for a JDM in black or white, but if your interested let me know what youve got! After looking around a few rather ropey/questionable bug/blob/hawk eyes i realised id rather deal with another enthusiast...

Impreza STI Type R Version 4 - Black




Engine
· Rebuilt Engine (85k miles on the clock – 137k km, new engine has done around 20k miles)
Full Service History (Lockyear Cars, Alan Jefferies, Slowboy Racing etc)
Standard besides
· Hayward and Scott 3” Downpipe with High Flow Sports Cat with 3” Outlet
· Hayward and Scott straight through stainless system with Jap Style Slash cut box (2.5”)
· The downipe has a 3” outlet. The exhaust system reduces to from 3” to 2.5 on the first pipe. Ian from H &Scott decided this was the best option, as the type R on standard management runs better with a 2.5” system. Plans for the future were maybe to add standlone management, where a 3” would be a better choice, and it would be cheaper to change the system than the downpipe! (the dp+sports cat cost over £600)

yeah it is until you have to clean it

 

LJF - Engine rebuilt as standard in 2007 by BH Autokraft, cambelt replaced then, car has done around 30k since build...

Stedee - Yeah it is a twice weekly ritual sometimes, but well worth it

 

This is a very good example of a Type R , the offer will be snapped up before too long.
