Default 2002 Impreza STi PPP (Type UK)- stunner!

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately due to a transfer at work and having to take the train, my little beauty isn't getting used much anymore and is mainly sitting on the driveway bored out her skull. So its probably time for me to let her go to someone who'll make better use out of her.

Uk car, only 65000 miles, Full Subaru Main dealer service history with plenty of receipts and old MOT's, taxed and tested, 3 former keepers, fully HPi clear. Has the original PPP upgrade certificate too, pulls like a train in all gears, drives absolutely superb. Driven quite a few scoobs myself and this one is still exceptional. While I have owned her she has NEVER been raced, tracked or thrashed and has had a pampered life, kept to high standard.

Totally standard unmodified engine, suspension has been upgraded though to some BC Racing coilovers, also has STi strutbrace, Ninja 2 backbox, Sti mudflaps, clear indicators, STi version 8 spoiler all done at Scoobyworld. Also benefits from 2 recently fitted front Yokohama tyres.

Breaks my heart to have to let her go, but such is work circumstances

NOW SOLD thanks to all parties who showed interest.

MOT until March 2011 and Taxed until February 2011. Reg plate is GD02XBJ for anyone wanting to do any checks etc.

Took it to Eurospec in Guildford yesterday as one of those BC coilies started that annoying little knock.

Top guys there, he took one look and said not enough pre-load. About 2 minutes of tinkering and a quick oil check and it was thumbs up from him. I was back out and it is good as gold now. The car wants for nothing and is all spot on

Of course, in accordance with its official Subaru service schedule.

All documented and book stamped with original receipts from the main dealer who carried it out.

Thanks for the comments.. I did take it on the rollers up at scoobyworld where she made about 286bhp and just over 280 lb ft which I was told by them was to be expected on standard early PPP cars- they were happier than I was with the result and said the curve was very good, but I don't have the printout anymore .

Pulls very well without any nasty flat spots, engine is totally standard as I haven't ever felt it needed any more. My friend's breathing-modded 350Z which made 278 at Eurospec RR certainly wasn't as quick, so I'm confident this is still a strong example despite the modest figures.

edit- will get some of engine bay.

Would you take £5.5k? Possibly interested but my budget doesn't stretch to what you want.

Acemodder- no chance mate, but thanks for the offer.

Thanks for the comments guys. Market seems very slow at the moment, ive rejected plenty of offers around the 6k mark including countless p/x offers but in all honesty I'm still in very much in love with the car, if it doesn't fetch very near the asking price I'd rather just keep it and enjoy it

For a living I am a purchaser so I tend to try to get deals out of people left, right and centre, all part of my job. Pity with the car market on performance cars it just doesn't work really

Forgot to add- I would consider a part exchange with a low priced performance car up to the value of £3k, just to use as an occassional runabout since I'm not doing much driving at the minute.

Would need FSH, Hpi clear, MOT etc and be in generally good condition with no real problems.

Plus final price reduction now as insurance renewal is end of this month and I didn't actually realize lol............ £6200 no offers if it doesn't fetch that by the end of the month I'm more than happy to keep her .

Thanks for the comments guys. Getting quite some interest now (not surprisingly, can't believe I'd ever price her this low this quickly )

As mentioned if she doesn't shift before renewal I'd rather keep her, brilliant car, drives sooo nicely. I'll cry if she goes, seriously lol.
