Default 2000 Impreza P1

2000 Wreg Subaru Impreza P1

Owned by my wife to be and fellow SN member JenniP1. We met at the local Subaru owners meet and are both true enthusiasts, no expense has been spared maintaining this wonderful car.

Selling due to us getting married and needing the funds from both of our 'toys'

She used the car everyday until about 3 years ago when we got her somthing more fuel efficent for the 100 mile commute, after this it has only been used as a weekend toy

The only modifications to the car are an uprated exhaust that sounds wonderful (to be fair, I'd love to let you have the A'Pexi exhaust that I have on mine and keep this one!), and a Whiteline adjustable rear anti-roll bar and droplinks (Helps reduce the subaru understeer).

Clear indicators have also been fitted, the standard orange ones will come with the car

The car has standard OZ-Prodrive wheels which are in VGC and no kerbing or marks, and are fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres with around 7mm of tread all round

I have had the front end painted as there were a few stone chips (only to be expected on a car of this age) and have detailed the whole car. The front tow eye cover was lost so a new one
has been ordered from Subaru and will be painted by the bodyshop as soon as it arrives.

One of the back lights has some condensation so one has been ordered and will be on in a day or two.

The engine has also just been rebuilt with a new bottom end due to the common No.3 bearing spinning, all valve clearances have been adjusted (not an easy job due to it having underbucket shims) and the heads skimed and pressure tested. The new engine runs perfectly and all parts fitted were genuine Subaru sourced from Lateral Performance who are well known and respected in the Subaru community.

Viwing highly recommended, a very regretable sale and we will be very sorry to see the car that brought us together gone!

Car is located in Manchester, 5 mins from the Trafford Centre or J13 M60 (Worsley)

Adam.

Cheers Jay

I can't understand why this isn't selling, I don't think it's too expensive and it is a lovely car that needs nothing doing to it?

Hi, full Subaru history up to 62k, I then serviced it at 68k with Oil, oil filter, MAF.

I rebuilt the engine, not the first Subaru engine I have rebuilt and I am from an engineering background and used to rebuild braking components (mainly remote servos) for classic exotica. I have not had a failiure that I have rebuilt. Everything has been checked, double checked and the engine sounds perfect.

I have done about 150-200 miles in it since the rebuild, problems usually show up within the first 50 miles on rebuilt engines. My garage build shows where I rebuilt it https://www.scoobynet.com/697912-500...e-build-3.html.

When it was rebuilt it has had, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, cambelt, tensioner, idler, ALL fluids, wiper blades and both aux belts.

Give me a call on 07884-212021,
Thanks,
Adam

Im looking for yet another Impreza at the moment, I like your car Adam, but the rebuild information doesnt fill me with confidence to be honest. 150-200 miles is no where near enough to guarantee me a look.

If the car ends up doing, maybe 1000 more miles and im still looking for another Impreza, I would be much more interested

Thanks

Hello Adam and Jen, i can also vouch for this car as i was out in it the weekend with them, very very well re-built and the car is in extremely good condition for the year. If this doesnt go at this price then something is wrong with scooby buyers out there, the P1 is one of the best cars to come from Subaru and always will be.
