Default 2001 Impreza WRX Wagon - Low Miles - £4.2k

Bought this car recently and then managed to end up working miles away from home so need to get myself something "sensible"....... on that note would be interested in an Audi / VW Tdi exchange =)

This car is in superb condition, I looked through a lot of rough ones before I found this, is my 4th Scooby and by far the best condition

Prior to myself it was owned by a mature owner (main reason I bought it) who owned it for 6 1/2 years

Has the following mods:

Hayward & Scot Stainless De-Cat System, with custom pro drive back box (will supply orig CAT)
STI Bonnet Scoop
Larger upgraded intercooler
C-West Grill
Few Samco hoses etc...
Stainless door trims etc...
CD changer

Subaru Cat 1 alarm system, Tracker fitted.

The car is currently just over 61k miles, belt was changed at 50k

Mot till Oct and Taxed till Oct months

Interior is in great condition, exterior has only the most minor marks, some curbing to alloys (not my parking !)

Will be really sad to see it go but as i said my mileage is just going to be too much

Let me know if you have any questions.

£4200

Hello,

Just wondering if that price was negotiable at all and if so how much by....Im looking for a 2000/2001 wagon and this seems to fit the bill, I want one that aint had a lot if anything done to it and has been looked after.

Im 26 and the insurance is the issue so that affects my budget :-( but the bug eye ones are cheaper to insure than the 92-00 wrx models for some reason.

Cheers

Cant really go any lower on price I don't think, its already pretty decent given the mileage (i think)

Does sound exactly what your after tho =)

No accident damage on it. Some history from the first owner, the second was an engineer who serviced it himself, very genuine fella and was pushing 60 surprised me when I went to his door !

what kind of engineer? I heard to be wary of people who 'service it themselves' as things can be missed etc. Hows the clutch looking, they can blow out pretty quickly even at 45k.

What bhp rating do these have, Im learning see . I know a lot about honda but not a huge amount about subaru figures etc.

Drives rock solid, had imprezas before this one and shopped around a lot. Don't blame you for being sceptical about "engineers" I just made a decision after meeting the bloke and driving the car.

Bhp I would have to double check on !

k. How do these compare the the saloon version, obviously they have a wider track with them wide arches etc. I guess I will just have to see what it feels like when I test drive one tomorrow. I did drive an evo 6 my dad had years ago but at under 30mph on the day he traded it in....So ive never really driven what you would call....a quick car. Ive had a saxo for 8 years and that was my first car that I just sold.

Its either one of these or a diesel van and I aint keen on that idea at all..:-(( ...I like driving on b roads far too much to put up with that. I need space for guitar/band gear and joinery gear so...I figured these would be a good option. Im just thinking saloon or wagon......wagon for space i know but.....anyway
