Default 627bhp enginetuner 2.1 sti8

as per title.....gutted and cant quite believe this day has come, but unfortunately family circumstances have changed and i have to sell my pride and joy.....

car is a 2003/53 plate impreza sti type uk. it was a dealer badged special edition model "300R" from drive subaru in camelon, now ian grieve. I am the 3rd owner(owned it for 5 years and 2 months), ex demo plus an older gentleman from cumbernauld who traded it back in for a legacy estate for trips up north to his caravan. It is in a rare black pearlescent paint(gold fleck through it).

All the work on the car has been done by Duncan at Hypertech and Alan Jeffrey, both of whom are happy to answer any questions about the car....some pics of the engine build are on the trader section under 2.1 enginetuner also...

The spec is as follows:

Performance:

Simtek ecu mapped by martyn jeffrey to 627bhp/500 lb/ft
2.1 stroker kit from alan jeffrey, closed deck block, full spec with h beam rods, custom pistons, shells, nitrided crank, cosworth oil pump, cosworth water pump, cosworth timing belt guide,ARP 14x14 head bolts greddy kevlar timing belt(Alan J can confirm full spec incase ive missed anything)
CNC heads by Rick Wood
Cosworth valves
cosworth cams
cosworth ultra race valve spring kit
cosworth baffle plate for sump
Roger Clark exhaust cam pulleys
Roger Clark annodised blue pulleys
Garrett GT 35/42 turbo

As always with these sorts of things its so hard to price. But surely its gotta be worth more than £15k.
Im in the middle of a mid power build at the moment and i know how much that costs to do right.

Best of luck mate, but for 15k, i think id rather break the car.

couldnt bring myself to do it...as i said to bigarf on phone last night, it is probs worth more in bits but would be such a shame to see it go to waste, the car is superb, and yes, certainly keeps the supercar brigade awful quiet

thanks dunx,its a little bit funny really as its exactly 2 years to the week that all my engine problems with mine started.hope thats going to be a thing of the past now.
