where are you located and has it had the 5 year cam belt service yet. Also as it wasn't registered from new is it on the £215 tax or post 06 £400+ tax. As I believe it counts from when cars are first registered. Also is it standard 265bhp spec.

had mine done last september at a dealers seem to remeber it was over £300 for the cam belt and unfortunately had to have a new tensioner also although sometimes you can get away withoutchanging this so i was told that was on a 2005 wrx

yep, have a look at this The cost of vehicle tax : Directgov - Motoring
The way to go is a modded wrx which will only be £200 as the registered emission is 215kg or so.

reading that, all cars between 2001-2006 are capped at band k, no indication of any changes on that front. Not this year anyway. Although an extra £200 per year won't stop us buying the cars just gives them more money to waste on expenses.

Dont think its right becase it says this on the new form
* Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006
That means paying £245 for STI owners from 01 on I think

Bump and explanation
Looked up your other posts, found a link to your photobucket site, found these...(STALKER!)
(Photobucket gives you the code to cut and paste into here... just select the photos and click 'Generate HTML code'.
Beautiful car by the way, Good Price too, I had a 55 plate STi PPP in black. If only I had the cash to buy yours..........
Good luck with the job hunt.
...oh and Road Tax worriers... put £8 a week away and come renewal time you'll be happy... or you could put £2 a week away and drive a Fiesta.
