Default MY02 STi Type UK Prodrive Style 450+bhp

Yes, I am selling my pride and joy.

My Scooby. 2002 Subaru Impreza STi Type UK Prodrive Edition. Finished in Black/blue mica.

Spec list for this car is huge. I have owned it since Jan 2003, bought from Sparshatts of Botley they were the original owner. Had 8k miles on it.

Car is only 1 of 100 in this colour and only 1000 cars were made in this spec. So a very rare car.

It is running 450bhp & 460lbs torque on v-power.

Simon (aka JGM) has mapped the car. Car is running Simtek and map 'b' is not yet configured but was planned to run a mix of meth.

I also have the simtek cable & software

Have spent in the region of £25k+ on modifications. Car has done 134k miles, 34k miles on a brand new hand built forged engine (2.5ltr)

No expense has been spared on this car. Built and serviced by Len @ Subaru4You. According to Len, this is the only Newage in the country running a standard position turbo on a twisted setup.

I have 2 ring binders full of receipts covering eveything that has been spent on the car.

Priced to sell £9995.00 It's worth more in spare parts. If someone bought it and broke it down and sold the bits on they could easily make a profit on this. (Not that I'd want to know you were doing this !!)

This is a very very quick car

Mark.

I'll even chuck in half a drum of methanol and several bottles of NF ready for when the new owner gets the meth map set up

Boing, still for sale

Got the lights off ebay years ago.

Waterspray controller sprays water at a desired boost point, onto the intercooler.

One question what gearbox is in it if its done 134k and running that sort of power and torque? If its got a decent gearbox in it and it aint sold I might well be interested.

Gearbox was swapped under warranty at about 50,000 miles because it had a rattle when I put the clutch down. The dealer couldn't find the fault so I insisted on a new unit. So it has an '05 gearbox in it.

Up to 100k it was running circa 380bhp.

At 100k the new 2.5 when in.

Ran with a TD05/06-20G for around 10k circa 400bhp

At around 110k it was fitted with the MD555 and running approx 420 as ongoing problems with split headers which I wasn't aware off.

Only on the dyno last year did we realise the header issue.

At that point the car underwent the 'twisted pipework' for the turbo. Collected last October finally running the 450bhp.

Haven't really used the car much since.

TBH I hardly ever drive it hard, where I live and where I travel too there aren't the roads to do it on.

Mark, you wouldn't believe the amount of time wasters that have come along.

The first and only time I will be selling a car privately !

The right person will come along at some point, no rush.
