Question Modded UK Turbo 2000 for SWAP for Standard

Impreza Turbo 2000 as pictured below.Lots of mods. Now im 40 im wanting something a little less modded.Anybody fancy a STRAIGHT SWAP for their UNMODDED Impreza(Spoilers and body mods are fine).Car looks to have been a show car at some point in its life and has a large speaker and amp in the boot and a blue neon light above the speaker.Expensive front mount intercooler fitted along with other mods.Engine was replaced in January 09.There is NO reciept for this but a letter from Sheffield Subaru spares stating the work that was carried out.

You might not be able to tell from the pics BUT the car could benefit from a respray to make it look perfect.Having said that the bodywork is in overall good condition for a 1997 car.The DVD screen and PS2 dont seem to be powering up but only need wires sorting out to make them both operational again.IF ur GENUINELY interested get in touch.
Cheers,Rich.

Sorry mate would have to be another saloon and a Turbo.I got to this car by swapping my 1999 UK Turbo wagon so I dont wanna in effect go back. The other option is to start to change everything back to standard.Which seems is gonna happen.

Cheers buddy. Its kinda growing on me.Im trying to decide whether to keep it as it is engine wise and get a full respray, full rally graphics and a high level spoiler, bigger bonnet hump,STi interior and roof pod on it OR put it back to standard and use the cash from the mods to fund part of the respray.
I can see me doing the first to be honest with ya.Only problem with that is like a lot of poor people at the min I am out of work and I think that MIGHT cause a bit of a problem where the moneys concerned. . Anybody got a permanant 7.5 tonne driving job available??lol.

BT, im at your age as well. Always had performance cars and after years of them decided i'd had enough. So i sold up and bought the wife a Merc AMG ML. Aftre 6 months i was and still am, back in a scoob. A nicely modded P1, and still modding, ha ha. I just got fed up of driving a regular car, its not for me. Keep yours and style it to suit you.

You know something webby mate,ur right!!Im gonna sort mine out.Its just the lack of job thats getting me down at the min and being unable to sort it YESTERDAY!!lol.I will be patient and live in hope that somebody can help me with a few VERY CHEAP bits such as the STi Interior and STi high level rear spoiler.Im NOT tight but as I say bein out of work doesnt help when ur trying to make ur car nice.Have applied for a job today and hope to hear something soon.If theres anybody in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire that needs a permanant van driver(upto 7.5 tonne)can you get in touch please???

Also, while im here........what size tyres would go on my wheels that are NOT low profile without interfering with the spring top and arch??At the moment the tyres are 145/40/ZR17.I HATE low profiles.

No thanks buddy.Gonna stick with saloons. The saloon is always worth more than the wagon for some reason aswell. As said before.I had to get rid of a T reg turbo wagon for my R reg saloon.
Cheers anyway

wow this car has got around a bit (saw it 4 sale on pistonheads nov/dec 09)i used to own this car it was my first scooby and my brothers before me and a mate before that between us we covered over 100k in her i was also the one that rebuilt the engine at 118k due to crank fail if you notice the rear bumper is from an import not uk 2000 as i forgot to drop my security post and reversed into it knackering the original bumper not sure when the tv/stereo stuff got fitted though the old girl lives on...

She lives on alright.Had another engine fitted by the last owner from Sheffield Subaru Services in January 09 and now runs absolutely beautiful. No Idea of cost or anything due to it not having the reciept or anything with it when I got it.Would have much preferred it to have been a standard engine but there ya go.It looks like im gonna be keeping her cos nobody with a standard saloon seems interested in a swap so it will hopefully be respray time over the nxt couple of months.
