this has been up for a while now eh, obviously still not listened to people regarding your asking price, hence why u havent sold it. think u should be a LOT more realistic with your price.

beautiful example... very clean and tidy and obviously your pride and joy!

to you it may be worth the earth, but you wont sell it at that price... you're going to be lucky to get £1.5-2 grand less in this current climate matey.

i'd give you £5k right now for it?!

Lovely looking car, but dont think the price is anywhere near achievable at the moment as there just dont seem to be the buyers out there - plus for 'casual impreza buyers' there are 53/54 plate UK turbos going for the same money with low mileages ( one just sold near me - 12K genuine miles on a 54 plate - £7500 !!! )

If you dont need to sell, probably worth keeping hold of it and for a year and see if the prices pick up at all.

If you actually pull your head out off your **** for 2mins you'll notice something around you called the resession and how the bottom end has dropped out of the 2nd hand car market... these and other cars are worth what the buyer is prepared to now pay and unlike a yr ago where circa 7k might have been poss, now you'd be lucky to get between 5-6k.

Listen to a dreamer like that and stick to your guns, you'll be holding on to that car for a very long time!

My advise, knock a grand off your asking price and you'll get bites!

Good luck with the sale

1.5-2k for a mint type r? show me any decent scooby for that money. Straight away, you're offering 5k.....what does that say?

And as far as I can tell, the price of used cars have actually risen in the last few months.

Lets not turn this guys 'for sale thread' into an argument over pricing... a few ppl have had a say on price now lets leave it and let the poor guy get selling

ps: when I do find a decent scooby for that money (and I will, even if it takes months as did my last), then I'll be posting pics for all to see

Bloody hell guys. I didnt expect this.

The price is as stated. If their is cheaper examples out their great!!! I doubt they are in the same condition though unless your very lucky to stumble across it.

The price is set with a bit of negotiation in mind but the car is worth more than 5-6k like some people are saying.

I agree, £7700 is a little high. I still think you would shift it easily for £6.5k.

Come on guys, if your not interested in buying this car then don't post on this thread.

The guy has said he's open to a deal so the starting price and what it sells for is between him and the buyer

Best of luck with the sale, I've just purchased a white Version 4 Type R and I paid more than what this guy is asking but then again it's far from standard.

Pistonheads seems to be the place that is selling cars at the moment, suggest you stick it on there

JMT stick to your price mate there are a lot of on line versions of time wasters and tyre kickers on here. the only opinion you need to worry about is the guy waving the cash about in ya face ......

Hi mate, i've passed the advert on to a friend of mine who's looking for a car a- his name is Chris, i hope he gives you a buzz as the car is mint like you say.

My two penneth on some of the posts - the car is yours, you set your price, negotiation is down to you and tbe buyer not anyone putting their opinions on a post and telling your in cloud cuckoo land. Just ignore them, they'll be someone willing to part with the money for a true mint and rare car.

Good luck to you matey, i hope you get it sold - if it weren't for the baby a 2 door type R would have been top of my list and to be honest i wouldn't want to pay less for one - id personally like to pay more and know im not going to get a dog!

Good luck again mate.
