Default 2000 Classic 340 bhp + exe-tc suspension new price

Subaru Impreza Turbo - For Sale 4900 ono

You are a hard bunch!

Contact Ciaran @ 07738 290 502 or pm, and thanks for looking. The car is located nr Uckfield, East Sussex.
I havent figured out how to get photos here, so any advice gratefully accepted and apologies for being a bit of a numpty.

A very well sorted drivers car, really a fantastic drive. Since I have had the car (over 2 years) I have added the exe-tc suspension, the quick rack and the manifold/uppipe set-up, with a remap. The suspension is amazing, fantastic body control. Selling as its just simply time for a change. I think we have all been there.
It started out as a silver Year 2000 saloon (last of the classic shape) Euro import, with Air Conditioning.

Engine:
  • Ej20 with a IHI roller bearing VF23 turbo (as used in the 22B)
  • Running 1.3 bar boost through a large custom front mounted intercooler and associated plumbing
  • New VF23 Turbo installed at 71,991 miles
  • Harvey Smith ported and wrapped manifolds and uppipe
  • ScoobySport downpipe and full stainless exhaust system included
  • Currently running with a recent standard back box fitted
  • LINK ECU (software and cable/interface box included to allow data logging and re-mapping)
  • Mapped by Bob Rawle for v-power (most recently last year, after the new uppipe and fuel pump)
  • MAP sensor and wastegate solenoid are uprated
  • 550cc injectors
  • A swirl pot is fitted, but currently bypassed as the pump was not functioning correctly (on the advice of Bob Rawle)
  • Fuel pump was changed to a Walbro, bypassing the swirl pot.
  • New Subaru Fuel pressure regulator Dec 2005
  • K+N panel filter (spare included)
  • Full standard CAT exhaust included
  • Oil Cooler – Think Automotive 19 Row 230mm
  • New Lamda Sensor (spares included) Dec 2005
  • New Cam Belt at 60,667 miles
Its a realistic 330-340bhp, every day any day, runs superbly.

Chassis/Drivetrain:
  • Exe-tc fast road coilovers and exe-tc top mounts.
  • Polybushed front end
  • Castor and camber setup for fast road (exe-tc specs)
  • Bumpsteer modification - Powerstation
  • Sti6 RA steering rack (quick rack)
  • Whiteline front and rear ARBS - rear is adjustable and recently cleaned up and repainted
  • Gearbox replaced July 2004 (API Automotive Imports), uses Red-Line gear oil.
  • New exedy organic clutch (API Automotive Imports) @ 74,890 miles.
  • New Front Wheel Bearings @72,000 miles
  • Very nice 17" P1 wheels with good Goodyear F1 gsd3's
Brakes:
AP racing brake calipers, separate bells with new discs
Pagid Blue pads
Castrol SRF Brake Fluid

Inside:
  • STI boost gauge
  • Shift Lights (WebCon Alpha T050)
  • LINK Knock sensor and live Lambda readout
  • SPA digital gauges x 3 - Exhaust Gas Temp, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Under bonnet Temp
  • Option to install Boost Sensor (included)
  • SPA gauges mounted in Scoobymania pod.
  • Cat 1 Alarm, two fobs, two keys
  • Air Conditioning
  • Alpine CD/MP3/Radio head unit – with 4 channel Sony amp

Outside:

Intended to look standard,
Clear Side Lenses
Tow Bar
Standard fog lights removed, replaced with carbon fibre panels – fog lights included.

Its been serviced fanatically by its first owners and myself, with some work done by Roger Clarke Motorsport and other Subaru Specialists, oil changes every 3000-5000 miles. Always quality fully synthetic oil, Mobil1 15w50 or Motul Comp 300v.

Loads of receipts
Two previous owners
Owned for last two years and 10,000 trouble free miles
86k miles
MOT February 2010
TAX February 2010

Negatives
Various marks and scratches on the body, like the owner, age related!, but no dents
A door switch needs changing as the 'door open' warning light is always on.

Hello everyone and many apologies for my very tardy response and thanks for all the help offered.I will try to get some photos up this evening. I kept an eye on the advert for a few weeks and then life and work took over.
Now that I have a chance again I can get on top off things. I will consider offers on the best bits but wont be giving them away. As you can tell I dont need to sell the car, just looking for a change
