MY98 STI v4 in silver
SOLD!!!.
Hi,
the time has come for me to sell my lovely silver STI 4.
This car was imported NEW into the UK, and first registered in Feb 1999, so is on a "S" plate. That said, it's currently wearing a personalised plate, which may also be offered with the car, depending on the final sale price.
I am the second owner, having bought the car just over 8 years ago, and have had it serviced by Protech (a performance car specialist) since then.
The only modifications are as follows:
- Scoobysport/Janspeed back box (still have the original STI BB if wanted)
- Bumpsteer mod, courtesy of Powerstation
- Tracker and Scorpion 1018T Alarm/Immobiliser fitted
MOT'd until 27/7/09, Tax until 31/7/09, with about 96,500 miles covered
I have always used high octane fuel, and still carry a bottle of octane booster, "for emergencies".
This car has model code GC8E4ED, and therefore is the 300bhp version.
[Interestingly, I have recently driven a 2007 Hawkeye STI PPP, and can honestly say that it doesn't feel as quick as my Classic STI!!!]

There are a few bad points (see pictures above) which I feel I should point out:
- Some damage to the passenger side door lock/panel, following a break-in attempt
- the rear bumper has some damage following a minor "tap" in a car park
- one boulster on the driver's seat has developed a small hole, so could ideally do with some attention by an upholsterer
- some rust has started to develop under the rear wheel arches
- some scuff marks on the driver's door mirror
- wheels could probably do with a refurb
- the ariel motor has stopped working, though the ariel still works just fine
Other than that, I think that this car is in pretty reasonable condition, given it's age.
I am asking £2500, but am open to resonable offers.
Any questions, just ask away!
Cheers,
Gareth
P.S. Car is in BRISTOL
